We’re going to start trying something new at our monthly meetings. We will have a “soft start” to the meetings at 6:00, for a “Social Half Hour.” During this time we will listen to some blues music, have a beverage and a snack and just have a good time. At our first try on April 3 (at the Longbranch as always) we will be entertained by the musical selections of our own Phil Smith. Phil often has CD reviews in the LCBS BluesPaper, and some other publications.
Then at 6:30, we’ll start our regular business meeting. We are almost always done by 8:00 pm.
If you’ve have wondered what these monthly meetings are, come on down and see. You can meet us at the “Social Half Hour” and leave, or stay for the business meeting.
