Please join the Linn County Blues Society for a night of music and fun on Saturday evening March 2, 2019 at the Best Western PLUS Longbranch in Cedar Rapids. Opening our show will be Matt Panek and the Silver Sonics featuring Merrill J. Miller and Tommy “T-Bone” Giblin. The headliner will be the Avey/Grouws Band, winners of the 2017 Iowa Blues Challenge and semi-finalists at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Doors will open at 6:00 PM and tickets are $15. LCBS members with advance tickets will receive a rebate at the door! Visit LCBS.org for more info on where to get tickets. This is a fundraiser with the goal of supporting the Community Free Health Clinic. Everyone is invited and LCBS members are encouraged to bring some friends. We will also be collecting donations of canned and dry food for donation to a local food bank. Plan on joining us for what will be the party of the year— until our next one. So shake off those Winter Blues and join us!
