August 4th marks the 19th year for Linn County’s perennial Blues festival, Bluesmore! Once again, the festival will be held on the grounds of Brucemore, the National Trust Site that has hosted the event for nearly two decades. Through the support of major sponsor Cedar Rapids Bank and Trust, LCBS will be presenting B.B. King Entertainer of the Year and Contemporary Blues Female Artists of the Year Janiva Magness, as well as The Chris Beard Band and BF Burt and the Instigators on the main stage. On the Back Porch Stage this year, we’ll feature Tommy Bruner and D.J. Johnson with student musicians through the support of Hometown Restyling.
